Mike Vilimek

Mike Vilimek graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and International Business. Following graduation, he became one of the first employees at Protexis, an industry leading DRM software provider located in Vancouver. Since then he has focused on formulating company-wide and specific product marketing strategies in various high technology companies. These companies have included software providers, Internet companies, fuel cell manufactures and a consultancy specializing in marketing and business development for high technology start-ups. He is currently a Product Marketing Manager at ACL Services, a leading audit analytics software solutions provider.

An accomplished athlete as well, Mike attended Simon Fraser University on a football scholarship where he set records for most rushing yards in a game and most rushing yards in a season. He was drafted in the first round (2nd overall) of the Canadian Football League Draft and has played a total of seven seasons, three with the Ottawa Renegades and four with the Montreal Alouettes.
